New Larger Warning on Pack of Cigarettes

I used to smoke cigarettes. Although I happily quit more then 10 years ago I was still a little surprised when the average pack of smokes had to have 50% of the pack covered with anti smoking advertisements. I have recently noticed that the law must of changed again. Now it seems the anti smoking advertisement covers more then 80-90% of the front of the pack!! I'm a little shocked and don't really understand the logic behind it. Why don't the cigarette companies sue the government for impeding on their ability and right to sell a product marketed for adults to adults? And if these things are required for cigarettes why isn't there even a small warning on a beer can or wine bottle? Seems a little one sided to me.
