Privatized Newspapers Barely Cause a Stir

July 5th 2010, as I browsed the newspaper this article jumped out at me. After almost a century as a non-profit organization the major newspapers of Canada have been privatized. With only a tiny article buried in the middle of the paper announcing this change. To me it warranted a much bigger announcement, once privatized the use of a newspaper as a propaganda tool just got easier.
